ACSA Region 17 Summer Book Study

Dear Leaders,
Our first #Ldrshpbkchat #ACSA17 book study on the book Leading While Female was a success with 100-250 people from all over the United States learning and engaging in rich discussions the first four Mondays in June.
Attached is the flyer for the How to Be An Antiracist Summer Book Study which will take place every Monday in July and August from 6:00-7:30 PM PST via Zoom. Here is the link to sign up for your convenience: We have some amazing speakers who will join us! See the flyer for details. We have partnered with many professional organizations and already have 214 people signed up for the #ACSA17 #HowtoBeAnAntiracist #Ldrshpbkchat book study after only two days of the flyer in circulation!
Here is a link to an article by Tre Johnson. It was also suggested we read it before the study: "When Black People are in Pain, White People Just Join Book Clubs."  Our goal is to have people participate in the book study and be able to make very explicit personal connections and actions to be antiracist, coach others to antiracism and be able to use what they have learned to inform their leadership, equity plans, board policy and more.
